Here are some useful videos on extending your visa and bordercrossing from Israel to Jordan:

If you go to Israel, do not let them stamp in your passport. Let them stamp on a separate piece of paper.

Because if you have an Israeli stamp in your passport, you might get rejected at the Jordan border.

VERY IMPORTANT TIP FOR

AMERICANS and NON-AMERICANS

Do not extend your visa on the last day. Do it at least 3 days ahead of time.

Because sometimes the visa offices are closed due to Islamic feastdays or other reasons. So make sure you are ahead of time.

If you are too late you with extending your visa, because the office was closed, you become an illegal visitor in Jordan and then you can be deported out of the country, if the police catches you.

There are random police controls in the public transportation busses, touringcars, and in taxi's on the highway. They will check your passport and they are able to detain you and deport you, if you are an illegal visitor.

Once you are in Jordan ....

After you leave the Jordan airport you might have to stay 1 or 2 days in Amman in a hotel.

Travel to Southern Jordan as soon as possible.

Do not settle in Amman. Amman is a very expensive city.

Do not waste money in Amman on apartments/hotels.

Do not take apartment contracts in Amman longer than 6 months maximum;

you need to stay flexible and free.

Do not easily sign apartment contracts: there are landlords in Jordan that exploit our people and make them pay even when they can't pay anymore. They treathen to send them to Jordan jail or block them from entering the country.

Do not give people a copy of your passport

(not even Hebrew Israelite brothers or sisters)

Only give a copy of your passport for business purposes like, apartment contracts or telephone contracts, etc.

Use your Hebrew name with the Hebrews and your passport name when you do business with locals. If you are not doing business, let the locals call you by a nickname. Keep it separated (wisdom).

After arrival at the airport:

The cheapest way to get in the city of Amman:

Behind the airport at the taxi booth there are busses that go to different locations is Amman. These busses only cost 3 JD.

More expensive ways to get in the city of Amman:

Go to the Taxi booth in front of the airport.

Have the address and phone number of your residence on a paper.

Show the taxidriver the paper. He will take you to the address.

And if he can't find the address, he will call to the contact person at your residence to navigate him to the address.

A taxi from the airport to any address in Amman

costs 30 US Dollar / 20 Jordanian Dinar

and closer to the wilderness.

But don't go to Petra. There has been some commotion with Hebrew Israelites and Petra. In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Hebrew Israelites have been deported back to the US and blocked at the Jordan border.
